Seeking Charger Replacement Recommendations

I have an Ericson 30+ with a Thoosa 9K motor.  My only charging is done with shore power.  My charger, a QuadPro has died. Well, half-died It's 4 12V chargers in a package, and 2 out of 4 are dead.  What do people here like for replacement?  Another QuadPro?  Something that instead would charge the whole 48 bank instead of charging each 12V battery separately?  (Battery is made up of four 4D 12v 198…See More

I have a few questions concerning a project I am currently working on, I'm still in the early stages and i'll be honest not truly sure what I'm doing, LOL. I live on a rather large lake here in alabama, At the start of the summer we had a pedal boat that I added an old 10 lbs thrust trolling motor too, and then later built a roof and added a 45 watt harbor freight solar panel kit, on a sunny we could run the boat without a battery in it, which was fun in knowing that we could run on "sun…See More

Proper Propeller Propulsion

I am in the middle of converting my 33' Seawind Catamaran with twin inboard electric motors. This boat had twin outboards 9.9HP Honda motors that were located in a inward position between the hulls that made it impossible to work on unless you removed the engines (hours to remove or install).  So I removed those gas outboards for the last time and bought two 35 HP rated, brushless 3 phase motors with Curtis controllers to run on 48Volt Lithium batteries from a Chevy Volt (2 for each).  I am…See More

Posted the 2015 results of the annual Harbor Test of my Thoosa 9000 EP system. My boat is 30 feet long and 16,000 lbs with an 11 foot beam. No real surprises after eight years with EP. Still doing the happy dance that I made the conversion: Mikehttp://biankablog.blogspot.comSee More
