Oceanvolt references

I am looking at buying 2 SD15 KW saildrives, 8 LiFePO4 batteries, 2 14KW DC Diesel Gensets and a solar charger/controller from Oceanvolt. They provided several references of people who had their systems in catamarans so I contacted all of them. Every one had a good story to tell! Sure there were a few problems, but the owners all said that Oceanvolt support was impressive. Does anyone in this group have a history with Oceanvolt?See More

Sea Trials Continued

Solar sailing down the Fraser almost making power.  Coming back upstream was interesting as we had to make prop for 50 amps a side so 100amps minus solar so 85amp deficit more or less to obtain our 7km/h upstream against probably 5 knots of current.https://youtu.be/rEA-u3lZqVg…See More

New Battery technology

I  keep  seeing announcements for new battery technology, most  recently  from   Renogy Solar  with  the Lycan Powerbox, but alas none of these  announcements  come with technical or  price information. Does anyone on here know of any  real break through battery technology  that is truly on  the market? See More
